Too HOT

It's been a tiring few days, in Oregon 88 degrees was the lowest high!!! Here's Joel finally passed out, exhausted and HOT.

Happy 1st Mother's Day!!! It was an uneventful day with a dinner cooked by my sister in-law, with my husbands side of the family. Not very memorable, but I love my son and am very proud to be a MOM.

Learning to Crawl

I was all ready to post a blog with a video of Joel trying to crawl this weekend. But to our surprise he actually did crawl tonight while I was playing with him and ruined my plan. I was very afraid I was going to be away when he crawled for the 1st time and had prepared myself for that and instead he did it for me. I was saying come here, come see Mom and away he went. I know that this means he'll be getting into everything and causing trouble, but it's an exciting milestone none the less. Look we match!!!

Mickey Mouse!!!

I was excited to see Mom and Dad when they return home. Even though they took me straight to the pediatrician for my 9 month old shots. I am doing great and growing like a weed, I only have 16 more inches to grow and I can ride on all the rides at Disneyland. I weight 21 lbs. 10 oz. which puts me in the 60% . I am 30 inches tall which makes me in the 90-95%. My Head is 45.5cm which makes me in the 50%. My 1st tooth popped through on Tuesday also:o)

A Week Without my Parents

This past week Mom and Dad were in Disneyland and I was with Bebe and Papa. I had learned many new tricks while they were gone! I discovered how to pull myself up onto my knees and also sit up from my tummy or my back. I am almost ready to crawl since I can get myself on all fours now!!!
